Halloween is one of the best holidays for kids. They get to walk around their neighborhood and get free candy for a couple of hours. Maybe go to a haunted house or throw a party with family and friends. Whatever you’re doing on Halloween, you deserve to enjoy it by staying up late enjoying your candy. But that is not the case because Halloween fell on a Tuesday this year, meaning we teenagers had to hang out with friends or trick-or-treat for a little but had to be home early because of school the next day. Halloween falls on the next day from last Halloween which means we won’t get to enjoy our Halloween staying up late til 2026 when most of us would be graduated by then. This is why I think everyone should get the day off after Halloween, even people with jobs. Adults with kids also stay up late taking their kids trick or treating, or cleaning up after a party. We all need that day to recuperate from Halloween night. It would give kids a happier Halloween and give parents a less stressful night.
