Students Reveal Their Favorite Netflix Picks

Izzy Botchuck, Staff Writer

The Hawk’s Eye surveyed three grades for percentages on trending and highly-viewed shows. Many people said they watched several episodes in one sitting because it was so enthralling. They couldn’t get enough. The most someone watched was 22 to 24 episodes of their favorite Netflix show.

The Hawk’s Eye listed five questions on the survey. One question was “What’s your favorite Netflix show and why?”

Some of the answers received were:

-“Narcos, because of the suspense.”

-“Riverdale, because it has a lot of twist and turns.”

-“Chowder because I’ve been watching that show ever since I was in first grade.”

-“Daredevil. I love dark and gritty shows, and that is just what this is.”

The Office, the most popular by far, won by a percentage of 33.3%. The Office “chronicles the foibles of disgruntled office workers, led by deluded boss Michael Scott at the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.”

Stranger Things came in second in popularity with 15.2%. According to Netflix, “Stranger Things is a hit sci-fi tv show about a young boy who vanishes from a small town and uncovers a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one strange little girl.”

Family Guy came third in likes with 9.1%, but isn’t available on Netflix anymore. Many people consider this show funny, but it may not be age-appropriate.

The rest came in fourth:

-Queer Eye

-American Horror Story

-Vampire diaries

-End of the F***ing World

-Breaking bad

-New Girl

-Shameless
