Cross Country:  Coach Daniels

Who To Look Out For This Season:

 “That’s a tough question because we graduated three our top three seniors so we are still trying to figure out who to look out for this season. You know we had a good practice yesterday, but i’m not sure whos gonna be the number one kid on this team next year.”

Most Improved From Last Season:

“Ryan Schmideskamp. He’s really improved in the last year to year in a half”.

Freshmen Favorites:

“Carter Stewart, we had a timed run and he was the number four kid”.

Goal For The Season:

“We are running low on the girls side, so just to improve there”.

Soccer: Coach Hair

Who To Look Out For This Season: 

“ We have a returning offensive player # 10 Landon Steen, All State”.

Most Improved From Last Season:

“ That’s hard to answer, everyone has worked hard this summer to prepare themselves for the 2019 season”.

Freshmen Favorites:

“I do not have any freshmen on varsity this year, bt we have sophomores that are very talented, Jake Prather, and Charlie Stovall”.

Goal For The Season:

“Every year 30 6A schools are trying to be state champions, so the ultimate goal is to win a state title”.

Who To Look Out For This Season:

“Hezekiah Newman is a good guy to watch he is a senior leader and a returning starter who has been on the team since his sophomore year. Nathan Matlack is another two- year starter”.

Most Improved From Last Season:

“Too early to tell and that happens every year, you see a lot of growth in someone unexpected but that hasn’t happened yet”.

Freshmen Favorites:

“Several guys, i like our freshmen class though I wish there were more of them”.

Goal For The Season:

“To win. To win every game”.

Who To Look Out For This Season:

“On defense you wanna look out for Nathan Matlack, Hezekiah Newman, they are both really good guys on the team. We also have some young guys stepping up like Marco Flores”.

“Offensively we have a lot of returning juniors, running back Ma’Rrell Fountain, but just a lot of people coming back from last year”.

Most Improved From Last Season:

“Cameron Byers has done a really good job over the summer playing quarterback and wide receiver”.

“On defense most improved is Zaden Marroquin, he is definitely most improved guy”.

Freshmen Favorites:

“ The two freshmen quarterbacks Jackson House, and Jason Schoma and stay at the varsity practice and are both skilled at their positions”.

Goal For The Season:

“To improve every game and be well rounded when November hits an have fun”.
