Varsity Football vs. Freestate

The Hawk’s cheer team hypes up the student section after the Football team rallies to catch up to the Fire Birds. “The game was really good and exciting to watch but it was disappointing to lose in the last two seconds,” Said Aliyah Thompson. 
In order to hype up the Hawks’ student section, Senior Aria Jaberian is lifted onto a platform and completes her push-ups for the touchdown. Jaberian is a part of Hawk Nation, and many members are coming up with new and creative ways to excite the students. “It’s really fun and thrilling,” Jaberian said. “Waiting for the moment to score then getting up on that board and everyone getting super hype!”. 
After a pass from Quarterback Jack Cornell, Junior Max Milligan runs the ball to the 15 yard line. Milligan brought the Hawks closer to the end zone, resulting in a touchdown soon after. 
Senior Savannah Bellis performs as a part of the Talons’ halftime show. The Talons’ theme for the year is a secret world, centered around the brightly colored triangles in the center of the field. 
Junior Jalen Proctor scores a touchdown for the Hawks varsity football team against Free State. Free State scored with 2 seconds remaining, but the Hawks didn’t go down without a fight. The final score was 21-27.
